My sculptures are typically non-objective, deriving their forms from nature and the human figure. I work in a variety of media and enjoy exploring the potential of each. Many of my pieces are small, designed as models for enlargement to monumental scale. I believe in utilizing materials to their advantage and finding an expression that seems natural to the material. I like for a sculpture to be three-dimensionally interesting, to change visually as you move around it. My favorite sculptors are Henry Moore, David Smith, Picasso, and Isamu Noguchi.
